The story of a mystical warrior named Oraz (Jason Scott Lee). When Jungars from Mongolia invade Kazakhstan, Oraz warns the leader about a child who is destined to unite the Kazakh tribes and overthrow the Jungars. Oraz saves the boy from the chieftain's assassins and raises him to be a fierce warrior (Kuno Becker) who will set their people free. This movie was Kazakhstan's official entry for Best Foreign Language Film for the 79th Academy Awards and it also received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Original Score.
